Ridefinizione dei rapporti tra arte e fascismo in Sardegna attraverso le mostre sindacali

La ricerca ha carattere interdisciplinare e abbraccia l’ambito archivistico e storico artistico. Da un obiettivo generale di individuazione, attraverso un lavoro sistematico sulle fonti d’archivio del territorio, dei rapporti tra artisti sardi e politica culturale fascista, la ricerca si è ampliata in direzione delle dieci Mostre del Sindacato di Belle Arti fascista di Sardegna, con l’intento di ricostruirne le vicende specifiche. Parte del progetto prevede il riordino dell’Archivio d’Artista di Filippo Figari, Segretario regionale del Sindacato, attività che permette di collocarlo all’interno del sistema organizzativo delle Mostre e di indagarne quindi la personalità oltre la ben nota carriera artistica.

 

The research is cross-disciplinary and embraces both archival and art historical fields. From general to specific, it aims to identify the relations between Sardinian artists and Fascist cultural policy. Through the analysis of the archival sources identified, the research has been extended towards the ten exhibitions of the Fascist Fine Arts Syndicate of Sardinia, with the intention of reconstructing their specific events. Part of the project is the reordering of the artist private archives of Filippo Figari, the regional Secretary of the Syndicate. This activity makes it possible to place him within the organisational system of Exhibitions and thus to investigate his personality beyond his well-known artistic career.
