Curriculum vitae

Aldo completed his bachelor and master degrees cum laude in Biological Sciences at the University of Cagliari.
In 2013, he worked in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain, supervised by Prof. Maria Susana Guerra Garcìa, investigating the role of host immune proteins in regulating the innate immune response. During the same year, he also worked as assistant researcher for Greiner Bio One International GmbH – R&D Diagnostics Division, Austria, with a project focused on the development of a portable POC Immunoassay.
Aldo joined the XXX Cycle PhD program in Life, Environmental and Drug Sciences at the University of Cagliari in 2014 and is currently working in the Laboratory of Molecular Virology headed by Prof. Enzo Tramontano, with a project focused on Ebola virus.
