Curriculum vitae

Serenella received her Bachelor’s degree in Toxicology in July 2015 with a thesis entitled  “Metabolism of tumoral cells” under the supervision of Prof. Tiziana Cabras. In July 2017 she obtained a Master degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a thesis entitled “Use of Metabolomics as an innovative approach for the study of Multiple Sclerosis” under supervision of Prof. Luigi Atzori.
She joined the XXXIII Cycle of PhD program in Life, Environmental and Drug Sciences at the University of Cagliari in April 2018, with the scholarship PON R&I, under the supervision of Prof. Elias Maccioni.
She is currently working on a project focused on the design, synthesis, and pharmaceutical optimization of new multi-target anticancer agents.
According to her PhD project, she spent nine months at the laboratories of Lead Discovery Siena under the supervision of Prof. Maurizio Botta.
