Curriculum vitae

Nicole attained her Biomedical Science master degree cum laude in 2012 at the Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, with an experimental thesis on the genotypic prediction of the viral tropism in a group of HIV-1 infected patients.

In 2013 she continued her research activities at the Retrovirus Laboratory of the University Hospital Sant’Orsola Malpighi in Bologna, headed by Prof. Maria Carla Re.

In 2014 Nicole joined the PhD program in Life, Environmental and Drug Sciences at the University of Cagliari, and currently she is working in the Laboratory of Molecular Virology under the supervision of Prof. Enzo Tramontano, with a project focused on the Human Endogenous Retroviruses.
