Curriculum vitae

Paola graduated at the University of Cagliari with a Master in Marine Bioecology in July 2013.
During the Master program, she conducted undergraduate experimental studies in collaboration with the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences of the University of Cagliari. In particular, she worked both on board and on laboratory activities, as well as on data acquisition during the MEDITS (MEDiterranean International Trawl Survey) programme. This work led to the completion of her master’s thesis: “ Growth of Mullus barbatus (Linneaus, 1758) and Mullus surmuletus (Linneaus, 1758) through otolith reading.”
She is currently a Ph.D. student in Life, Environmental and Drug Sciences, Animal and Human Biology, and Ecology Curriculum, at the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences.
She is currently working under the supervision of Prof. Angelo Cau on deep sea.
