Curriculum vitae

Claudia graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from University of Cagliari in July 2014. As an undergraduate student she conducted a semester of experimental work at the Organic Chemistry department of the Semmelweis University (Budapest) under the supervision of prof. Peter Matyus.
The work led to the preparation of her thesis “Oxime derivatives: new strategies for the synthesis of potential semicarbazide-sensitive amino oxidase inhibitors”.
Claudia is currently studying, under the supervision of prof. Elias Maccioni, the design and the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds with potential biological activity. In particular her works will be directed towards the discovery of new chemical entities as antiviral, antitumor, and anti-mycobacterial agents.
