Curriculum vitae

Elisa graduated in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Cagliari in September 2013. She attained her Master internship in the Laboratory of Molecular Virology directed by Prof. Enzo Tramontano. Her experimental thesis was focused on the study of new inhibitors of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase. As an undergraduate student, she conducted a semester of experimental work in the Laboratoire de Biologie et Pharmacologie Appliquée (LBPA) at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan under the supervision of Dr. Olivier Delelis. After her master, she spent a period at the University of Cambridge working in the Laboratory of Virology directed by Prof. Ian Goodfellow. She also worked in the Laboratory of Molecular Genomics at the Institute of Molecular Biology of Barcelona (IBMB-CSIC) on a project focused on the reactivation of HIV-1 from latency under the supervision of Dr Albert Jordan.

Elisa joined the XXXI Cycle PhD program in Life, Environmental and Drug Sciences at the University of Cagliari in 2014 and is currently working with Prof. Enzo Tramontano on a project focused on Viral Evasion of Innate Immune System.
