Curriculum vitae

Marta Collu graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Cagliari in March 2015, with the thesis entitled: “New dihydroisocoumarins from natural origin”. During her work as undergraduate student in the research laboratory of Dr. Laura Casu she learnt the techniques of compound isolation and structure elucidation of secondary metabolites from botanical matrices. Now Marta is continuing her studies under the supervision of Dr. Laura Casu in the research of secondary metabolites from plants with potential pharmacological activities such as antibacterial, antifungal and effects on the nervous system.
