Curriculum vitae

Mozhgan has attained a Bachelor’s degree in General Biology and a master’s degree in Molecular Genetics at Azad University of Tehran, with an experimental thesis in Genotypic Analysis of Class 1 & 2 Integron Genes in Haemophilus influenzae Isolated from Clinical Isolates, under the supervision of Prof. Shiva Irani. After the degree she has worked for a few months in the Pasteur Institute of Iran, Molecular Biology and Microbiology sections, under the supervision of Prof. Davar Siadat. Further more, she has worked for another few months in Medical Genetics Laboratory of Dr Zeinali (Tehran), Sequencing section.

She is currently a Ph.D student under the supervision of Prof. Tiziana Cabras, with a project focused on the study of the proteome/peptidome of biofluids, cell and tissue extracts for the characterization of potential disease biomarkers and bioactive peptides.
